Regularly Scheduled City Council Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month, 7pm, at City Hall.

The IML Parks Department meets on the second Thursday of each month at 6:00pm at City Hall. The public is welcome! Come and share in the growth and progress of our beautiful parks and recreational opportunities.

  AT IRON MOUNTAIN LAKE
  HAD A GREAT TURN OUT

​Santa Claus made a special visit to the Iron Mountain Lake City Hall Monday night. The Iron Mountain Lake Park Board turned City Hall into a winter wonderland for the children to enjoy.
City Clerk Lanette Kunz said the board chose the Polar Express theme and everyone, old and young wore their pajamas.

>NEW HOURS FOR CITY HALL
Effective immediately: City Hall will be open Monday 8 to 4, Tuesday 8 to 3:30, Wednesday 8 to 4, and Thursday 8 to 3:30. Closed Friday. These new hours will allow for essential errands to be run at the end of certain business days.
The Mayor, the Board of Alderman and the City Clerk, realizing the concerns and issues, came to what they believe is a solution by adjusting the posted business hours for City Hall. Hopefully the new hours will be beneficial for all concerned.
As a reminder: For your after hours convienience there is a drop box located next to the City Hall entrance.

Tuesday      - 8 am till 3:30 pm

​> WORK BEGINS ON SEWER LINES
Work is beginning on the necessary repairs of major vacuum valves for our sewer system this morning. Beginning today "C" sewer lines that run on the entire east side of the Lake will be effected until further notice. You are being asked to limit any unnecessary sewer use during this process as the sewer lines will be turned off during the day in order to make the repairs. Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated.
Also portions of roadways may be temporary closed during this process. They are asking for your patience and cooperation and are sorry for any inconveniences.
To report any major issues regarding your sewer that may be resulting from the repair process contact IML Maintenance, Joe, at 573-518-4164.

> CITY HALL CLOSED IN OBSERVANCE OF MLK DAY
​CITY HALL WILL BE CLOSED today, Monday, January 19, 2015 in observance of the Federal Holiday, Martin Luther King Day. Please make note, for future reference, that the IML City Clerk's Office is closed for all Federally recognized holidays
Also, on TUESDAY, January 20, 2015, there will be PAYMENT COURT at 9:00 am at City Hall.
TUESDAY will also be the last day to file for candidacy in the April 7th election. City Hall will stay open until 5:00 pm on Tuesday for those last minute filers.
